FAQ

How much is $100 with 10x leverage?

$100 margin × 10 = $1,000 notional. A 1% move ≈ ±$10 PnL (±10% on margin). Generic liquidation (0.5% MMR): long liq at 60,000 × (1 − 0.1 + 0.005) = 54,300 on a 60k entry — about 9.5% adverse move, not 10%.

What is 20x leverage on $10?

$200 position; 1% move ≈ ±$2 (±20% ROE). Generic: liq distance 1/20 − 0.005 = 4.5%. LeverUp: 0.85/20 = 4.25%.

How risky is 100x leverage?

$100 → $10,000 exposure; 1% move ≈ 100% of margin. Generic liq distance ≈ 0.5% (MMR caps at 0.5%). LeverUp ≈ 0.85%. Both are inside typical BTC intraday ranges.

How much leverage should I use in crypto?

Risk 1–2% of account per trade via stop distance; leverage = notional ÷ margin. Try the position size calculator.
